Owner, Dustin Summers has always had a natural inclination for design and building. His study at Southern Methodist University in Dallas earned him a B.S. in Engineering. In addition, much of his inspiration and vision come from a lifetime of artistic interests. Taught by his mother, he enjoys throwing pots and has always had a keen sense of art and aesthetic. Together, these elements create openness and a freedom of vision. This style helps homeowners hone their own vision and transform their living space to serve their needs and lifestyle.

Dustin started renovating and rehabbing houses all around the Kansas City area in 1993. He began in partnership with his parents doing home rehab work. By purchasing the home, repairing everything that needed fixing, and transforming outdated and ill- maintained houses into beautiful, new turn-key homes for sale, he developed a vast knowledge of construction, remodeling, and restoration.

Once out on his own, Dustin’s efforts turned towards helping individual homeowners actualize their vision of an ideal home.

We spend our days renovating homes in this community. With the creation of RED RENOVATIONS we are proud to make our services available to you as a general contractor and remodeler.

Our subcontractors are specialists whose craftsmanship is superior. We’ve had working relationships with most of our subcontractors for more than a decade.

We have a great passion for houses and we carefully oversee each step of the renovation. We find great joy in helping people transform their homes and want to help you change the way you live.
